Named ‘Tectonic’ for its intrinsic tie to the Earth’s magnetic energy and the foundations of life, the sculpture transcends its literal meaning. Its essence lies in the interplay of light and water within a geometric yet organically fluid form. While open to individual interpretation, its design roots itself in aesthetic simplicity and kinetic energy, inviting varied perceptions and connections.

Collaborating with Giles Rayner, we embarked on a journey to craft a unique, one-of-a-kind water sculpture tailored for a discerning private residential client. This bespoke piece was envisioned to harmonize seamlessly with the aesthetics of their newly constructed 12,000 square foot dwelling.

The primary objective was to fashion a captivating focal point for the property—a statement art piece that would captivate attention upon approach. However, our challenge extended beyond mere aesthetics; the sculpture needed to embody durability and longevity, ensuring its prominence for years to come.

Aimed to merge decorative elegance with functional sophistication, infusing a modern sensibility into the design. Working in tandem with the design team, meticulous attention was paid to rendering concepts and navigating the intricate processes of fabrication and installation. The ultimate goal was to deliver a sculpture finished to the pinnacle of quality.
