BCP Council

Revolutionising local governance through brand development

Working with local government entities, spearheading the creation and implementation of a brand for the amalgamation of Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council. This monumental merger involving three councils, comprising a workforce of over 6000 employees, demanded a strategic approach to unify their identities and operational strategies.

The goal was to establish a cohesive and impactful brand that not only represented the collective strength of the merged councils but also aligned with local authorities’ functions. It was imperative to seamlessly integrate legal frameworks and strategic initiatives into the brand’s core, ensuring its resonance within local business endeavours.

Launch principles that embodied the council’s accountability and commitment, it was important to formulate meticulous principles governing the launch logo’s usage: Legal and Business Alignment: The logo’s deployment was tied to legal and business-critical reasons, emphasizing the council’s role as the responsible entity in fulfilling duties associated with the brand. Transparency and Authenticity: Considerations for transparency and openness were paramount. The logo served as a symbol of authenticity, applied in instances where services necessitated demonstrating genuine communication and service delivery.
